Book Review, No spoilers I swear!

Blog tour!

So this is my first blog tour and I am absolutely thrilled to be part of celebrating the release of Holly Martin's new book, Sunrise Over Sapphire Bay which is the perfect escape. Sun, love and drama what more can you want?

If your new to Holly Martin's books then your in for a treat. If there is one thing you can count on is a perfect romantic feel-good read that you won't want to leave. And this book didn't disappoint. But before I tell you how wonderful this book is perhaps I should give you the blurb. Give you an idea of what its about.

The Blurb:

Aria Philips has lived on Jewel Island all of her life. Even when her sisters Clover and Skye left its stunning shores for bigger and better things, Aria stayed to help her father run their family hotel.

A year after her father’s death Aria’s done everything she can to keep things afloat but the hotel has long been struggling to make a profit. With so few guests Aria risks losing the only home she’s ever had.

Noah Campbell earned his fortune from making hotels a success, and he also just happens to be staying on Jewel Island this summer. Could he be the answer to Aria’s problems? If only he hadn’t kissed her under the willow tree the year before and never called her again. It had been the most incredible kiss of her life, but clearly business and pleasure should never be mixed.

As gorgeous and charming as Noah may be, Aria vows to keep things professional while she seeks his help. But for the past year Noah has been keeping a secret and his return to Jewel Island is about to change Aria’s life forever…

Thoughts:

Sounds good right?

The story of Aria and Noah takes you on a roller-coaster of will they? won't they?

From the beginning I fell in love with the characters, each one is just as unique and quirky as the last. Aria is a strong heroine who knows what she wants from life but doesn't like others to feel indebted to her which is seen with her relationship with her sisters. This is something I really connected with. I hate the feeling of having to accept help from my family, but its that support and help that Holly Martin illustrates with her characters that gives this book such an authentic family feeling.

The attraction between Aria and Noah is charged throughout this book and is something that will keep you hooked throughout. I'm telling you now you will not be able to put this book down. The scenes are intimate and so heartfelt that they are romantic but there is also heated scenes of passion that will make you blush too!

I've never read a book so quick and that isn't an insult as all to the author. In fact it just shows how captivated I was and invested in following the journey of Aria and Noah.

The setting of Jewel Island is perfection and is a perfect place to escape to, especially during the times we find ourselves living in. Jewel Island is a place where I want to go and the story of this book is so beautifully written that I found myself wanting more. I could of easily read more about these characters and this place.

I could go on all day about how wonderful this book is. But then again, I risk telling you spoilers and I don't do that here! So I think its better that I don't. If your looking for a summer read, something light and funny then this is the book for you. It's the definition of a feel-good book. I loved it and it was just what I needed to get out of a reading slump.

I would like to say a very big thank you to Holly Martin for sending me a digital review copy of this gorgeous book!
